Seeking Volunteers for Senior NYO 2022

Seeking Volunteers for Senior NYO 2022

NATIVE YOUTH OLYMPIC (NYO) GAMES 2022 IS HAPPENING IN PERSON — AND YOU CAN BE PART OF IT!

With hundreds of athletes expected to attend both Anchorage Tryouts (March 25 – 26) and Senior NYO Games (April 21 – 23), CITC is seeking volunteers to fill a number of roles at both events.

There are so many opportunities to take an active role in the first in-person NYO events since 2019! You might like to sit at the information table (where the pilot bread competition also takes place!), offer security support to monitor the space and interact with attendees, or meet athletes as you assist them in completing a survey. Opportunities are also available to load and unload supplies, support registration, or sell merchandise. No matter what your interest is, there’s an opportunity for you to be a part of the action!

A few important details:

  • Organizers are taking all appropriate precautions to create a safe, welcoming environment for athletes, coaches, volunteers, and fans.
  • Anyone who volunteers for two (3-hour) shifts receives an NYO t-shirt, and those who volunteer for six (3-hour) shifts receive an NYO hoodie!

Get in the Games! Visit our volunteer page to sign up, or contact smhubers@citci.org.

The materials in his design reveal the perception toward space, surface and volume. Moreover, he likes to use natural materials because of their aliveness, sense of depth and quality of individual. He is also attracted by the important influences from Japanese Zen Philosophy.
